Celebrate Life Festival 2009

We live in a much shifting time of change on a global scale. Many structures come apart and big transformations take place, on the inside as much as on the outside. This year's festival is dedicated to a modern spirituality that brings to us inner support, strength and innovation for new possibilities in this phase.

How can we in times of outer crisis strengthen our inner alignment through our spiritual practice, through transparence and being awake, and through authentic service in the world and thus open up for the evolutionary change in our life? What is our contribution in times of change that allows us to grow into a responsible person of the 21st century? We explore the creative aspects of the global changes and how we can create together an awake culture.

We see that the outer change has great influence on what we call culture, living together, society. A spiritual practice that is not destabilized by crisis, can give us more insight and expansiveness as well as inner stability for dealing with the waves of everyday life in a creative way. In order to answer some of the burning questions that are presenting themselves to us we need a new perspective. Only this allows us to realize new possibilities.

The evolution of life, of consciousness and of awakening forms the focus of our activity. We create a framework in which many people can engage in inner and outer questions on life, their spirituality and a new We - an awake culture. In an intense atmosphere of presence, celebration and practice that is enjoyed together emerges a space that invites the insight and depth. The speakers invited offer us through their own life path an example of how we can live our inner involvement in an awake culture. This is meant to serve as inspiration for connecting even further with our own potential in life. New possibilities emerge when we have the courage to see and transcend the old habits and perspectives.

Close to the pulse of time and innovation we become the opening and evolutionary progress that we want to see as creative change in the world.

Once again we have invited many inspiring teachers that together with us explore a modern evolutionary spirituality and a life resulting out of this.

Ken Wilber, Barbara Marx Hubbard, Byron Katie, Dr. Scilla Elworthy, Michael Habecker, Norman Blanchard/Roman Samov and Johannes Heimrath will be contributing guest speakers at our Festival. At the same time workshops and an artistic programme will again create a framework in which practice, joy and celebration can take place.

The Festival is ideally suited for families and children who can spend their summer in a field of presence and mindfulness.
